Wood Fencing

Installing wood fencing at your home or ranch is an attractive way to enhance the value of your property – while also providing privacy and security. At A-Z Fence, we use top grade Western Red Cedar treated wood supplied by a local vendor. Our privacy fences can be either 6’ or 8’ tall. We can add decorative touches to the fence such as lattice, a top cap with trim, or ground board. Pickets are either 4” or 6” wide. You have a choice of either steel or treated wood posts.

There are different styles of wood fences we can install for you. What follows are short descriptions of the wood fencing we offer. soon.

• Picket fencing – This is one of the most traditional of American fences. It provides privacy while adding to your property a border that is aesthetically pleasing. We offer picket fences in all heights, both gothic (the boards come to a point at the top and are of uniform height), and dog-eared (curved fencing, boards vary in height to form a curve).
• Shadow box fencing – This style of fencing is sometimes called “board on board”. It offers a uniform look from either side of the fence, and is a great choice if you share fencing with a neighbor. Besides being decorative it is functional, allowing breezes to pass through.
• Good neighbor fencing – a variation of shadow box fencing that also allows a uniform look on both sides of the fence. Instead of every other board being on either side of the fence though, the sides of the fence alternate in sections.
• Cedar split rail – Typically 3-rail, but also available in 2- rail, these fences offer a warm accent to your home. They’re also great for keeping in livestock or horses on farms or ranches.
